Tea Tree Essential Oil

 Tea tree also known as melaleuca is an Australian favorite due to its cleansing and cleaning properties.   It's long been used as a traditional medicine for many years in a variety of ways including inhaling the oil for crushing and rubbing leaves on the skin and brewing an infusion of the leaves to make a tea and the latter is why Captain Cook named the plant the tea tree.   




Melaleuca is capable of supporting the immune system and it also helps to stimulate it as well.   It's rich in terpenoids and this means it can be used for a whole variety of different reasons from rashes and eczema to helping protect health, preventing dandruff to athletes foot and other skin infections and viral infections. 



It’s great diluted and applied to the throat or back of ears at the first sign of discomfort to support the immune system and it can be taken internally as a gargle or as FLOOM - Frankincense, Lemon, On Guard, Oregano, Melaleuca 1 drop of each in a veggie cap up to 3 times a day to support the immune system.  You could also make up a FLOOM roller with 3 drops of each in a 10ml touch bottle and top up with fractionated coconut oil or diffuse it.  


Clarifying oil powerful for protecting energetic boundaries a simple and quick practice to take advantage of tea tree's protective properties is to take three drops in your hand rub your palms together and breathe it in then wave your hands over your head and down your body and you can find it warding off unwanted energy that is destructive in your life. 


This is a great shower cleaner  and super simple to make which is 20 drops melaleuca, 15 drops geranium,  20 drops lemon and 2tbsp white vinegar add them all to a 16 ounce glass spray bottle fill the remainder with water spray - after you shower spray the cubicle and floor liberally to prevent mold and mildew.


Melaleuca is a disinfectant type of oil by nature and it's really good for releasing parasitic relationships whether this is a toxic relationships with people or microorganisms in the physical body.  So it's a great one for literally out with the old and in with the new and protecting those energetic boundaries helping keep you feeling safe and feeling good.

Tea Tree pairs well with things like clove, On Guard, lemongrass, lemon myrtle, lemon and lavender.


Tea Tree is one to avoid around pets - when used as a cleaner make sure surfaces are dry before pets can walk on them and avoid diffusing around them and wash hands before petting your pets after having used it.
