AromaTouch Blend

I would never be able to choose just one oil to take to a desert island but if I could choose a few then the AromaTouch blend would be in there.

I use this daily on myself (and my dogs more about them coming soon in their Who Paws Wins Blog ) as an aromatic dressing - this is basically a blend of coconut oil and a few drops of AromaTouch applied all over my body as a body lotion.  I absolutely love the clean, fresh and minty aroma and it makes my body feel soothed and comforts any niggling bits.

AromaTouch is an important blend in the doTERRA AromaTouch Technique which I love to give people and my dogs too for that matter!  The blend combines a unique group of oils to provide relaxing and comforting effects for the whole body combining essential oils of Peppermint, Cypress, Basil, Grapefruit, Marjoram, and Lavender, this blend is just perfect. Using this oil for massages can help lessen tension and provide a soothing sensation that will aid in the effectiveness of any massage experience for experienced practitioner to enthusiastic amateur

A quote from doTerra founder Dr Hill really sums it up
"I wish that I could have had the AromaTouch essential oil blend back when I was practicing. It is designed to promote feelings of relaxation and to lessen tension. In order to accomplish these goals we need to stimulate blood flow in the tissues and the application of this oil blend through the AromaTouch Technique does an excellent job. It utilizes Cypress, Peppermint, Marjoram, Basil, Grapefruit, and Lavender essential oils in such a way that is truly special and highly beneficial." - Dr. Hill

It is so nice to soothe muscles at the end of the day or aching legs and feet.  I always use it to help warm up my muscles as the cypress in it is great for supporting circulation and the peppermint  undoubtedly peps you up even on the wettest Manchester day.  After said wet and inevitably muddy run a warm epsom salt bath with a few drops of AromaTouch is definitely what the doctor ordered to soothe any irritations!  But don’t save it just for then!  Need a little pick me? Diffuse or apply it topically for some rejuvenation and it also calms anxious feelings which always seems to help lessen my pre race tensions and decreases my emergency pees pre-race!  If you are a runner you will know what I mean!  And great if you are working and that mid afternoon slump as it peps you up, and soothes away tension without make you feel sleepy!

It is a combination of some awesome oils
Cypress essential oil has been shown in new research to assist with feelings of anxiousness when experienced aromatically.
Ancient Egyptians used Marjoram primarily for its muscle-soothing properties.
Peppermint essential oil has a high concentration of menthol, which contributes to the cooling and tingling sensation of the AromaTouch blend.
Basil is often used in massage due to the cooling sensation it provides to the skin.
Known for its energizing aroma, Grapefruit uplifts mood.
Sweet and ever-popular, Lavender essential oil has a powdery fresh aroma that is very relaxing. When inhaled or applied topically, it lessens feelings of tension and soothes away feelings of anxiousness.
It really is such an amazing blend that I am enjoying diffusing as I write this.
